Joan Hyde, Ph.D. CEO of Ivy Hall Senior Living For the last twenty-five years Joan Hyde, Ph.D. has worked in the field of gerontological research and practice, including, environmental and program design and implementation, in assisted living, nursing homes, senior housing and other long-term care settings. She is the Chief Executive Officer of Ivy Hall Senior Living, which provides assisted living management and consulting services and carries out research in the senior living industry. From 1993 to 2006 she served as Chief Executive Officer of Hearthstone Alzheimer Care, where she established and managed eight dementia-specific assisted living residences in the northeast, making Assisted Living a widely accepted setting for dementia treatment.

Ms.
Warren was awarded her doctoral degree in Gerontology from the
University of Massachusetts in Boston. Her professional
experience has focused primarily on care and housing
arrangements for elders with Alzheimer’s disease and related
dementias, including policy and fundraising work for the
Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern Massachusetts, the
Alzheimer’s Association of Utah, and the Massachusetts
Association of Older Americans. For seven years, Ms. Warren was
affiliated with Hearthstone Alzheimer Care Assisted Living
programs in Massachusetts and New York, where she held a number
of management positions. Most recently, over the last four
years, Ms. Warren has worked both as a Geriatric Care Manager
and a business development consultant for Audrey Zabin &
Associates Geriatric Care Managers of Boston.
